Ashamed to say this is the first time to your website – but it’s great! I’ll be coming back soon. As for the skirts, they are pretty cute too.

What a fabulous program. I can apply this information for my clients trips abroad as well.
Thank you.

Africa is on my “bucket” list for 2011!

Wow. Buying underwear to use as a swim suit. – love the idea. I am not sure I have the nerve to do it though. I also encourage clients to pack a zipp lock bag of washing detergent. It is great to be able to freshen up light weight garments overnight. I found your class to be very informative. Thank you.

Wonderfully informative and entertaining seminar. I liked the idea of using lots of ziplock baggies and using the shoes separately as storage spaces. Love the Bamboosa skirt!

Your packing seminar was excellent.

Mary Hadden September 5, 2010 at 5:47 pm

Your seminar was a gift from Heaven for me as I am taking 14 people on Safari to Kenya and Tanzina next May and they have all been asking me how to shop, pack and what we will need. I was so thrilled I could hardly belive when I saw you were doing this seminar. Extremly informative and made it seem so simple to pack for 33 lbs. thanks you so much.

Who knew Bamboo clothing could be so stylish? The skirt is definitely.

Paula September 6, 2010 at 2:21 pm

I’ve subscribed to the RSS feed so I don’t miss any of Sandy’s great Safari tips!

Paula September 6, 2010 at 2:27 pm

And I like Hills of Africa on FB. I love and recommend zip lock bags to clients. Years ago, I would make a chart of functions and clothes my Mom needed when speaking at a conference and then help her pack.
So Lee’s suggestion to make a packing chart for Safaris (and other trips) was a GREAT reminder!

Another resource for multi purpose and breathable clothing that doesn’t look like gym attire: REI stores and online. I also have clients who rave about the mosquito repelling exOfficio clothing. Thanks so much for a great teleseminar.
