• Mammals: Lion Sands Game Reserve is famous for its awe-inspiring bio-diversity and is the perfect destination for travelers looking to see a high concentration of game. Some of Lion Sands’ greatest observations during the month of March included leopards resting in trees, mating, and eating. One of the Reserve’s most spectacular sightings in March was a male leopard stealing an impala kill from a female leopard in a tree.

Also, there were lion sightings nearly every day on the Reserve. The pride spotted frequently was the Southern Pride, which consists of two males, five females, and ten adorable cubs.
